1. I’m loving the bold colours that we’re seeing in homewares at the moment. Spring/summer is the perfect time to overhaul your home style. I adore loud tropical colours and funky patterns.
2. Pastels were all over the catwalks at NY fashion week. Sugary colours work well for home furnishings to add a sweet touch to neutral rooms.
3. Chic coastal style never goes out of fashion in the home. Neutral tones mixed with stripes and nautical-inspiredornaments create this look.
As well as bringing you the top trends, we love to see what you're personally loving in interiors right now...

A ruffled effect can create a look of fragility, daintiness and femineity. Along with this it adds a great texture to a plain interior and when used with bright colours, can create a visual playground for the eye!
Our cabaret textured cushion comes in a variety of different colours. Check them out here
Not too red, not too pink, watermelon is the perfect pretty shade for spring/summer! A very feminine shade, it may not be the favourite choice for the man in your life but adding hints of the colour through accessories and soft furnishings can create the perfect balance...
ROMANCE IS BORN…
Dark, moody, romantic colour palettes are all the rage in interiors for 2014 – think dusty pink, plum, rusty red, chocolate brown and a dash of black thrown in for good measure. Take inspiration from classic French boudoirs and look to materials like leather and velvet for furniture and soft furnishings. To really set the mood for romance, place bunches of soft, scented roses in crystal vases around the room .
BACK TO EARTH
Forget wall to wall white interiors – the trend of earthy tones has taken charge! Variations of white are still popular, like shell white, but there is now a growing trend towards mixing up neutral earthy tones. So instead of a room full of beige furniture, mix it up with items like an upholstered linen sofa in sand, a timber block table, carved stone furniture and cement bowls and accessories.
ALL AROUND THE WORLD
Be inspired by traditional designs from exotic locations like India, Africa, Morocco and Mexico – their amazing use of colour has inspired fashion and interior designers this year AND into 2014 too! Don’t be afraid to mix up colours and patterns to achieve the look – just find at least one colour to link each design so your interior doesn’t look too cluttered. Then again, it’s up to you – this trend is all about freedom of expression
Try mixing up your coastal look with a bit of vintage.. whites, neutral shades and washed reds, blues and greens can all come together to create a soft and relaxed environment.
Accessorize with vintage pots & vases to highlight the country vintage theme. OR if you prefer more of a coastal look use wooden accessories and beach motifs.
