Recently, we shot with Citizens of Style, photography by Lynden Floss and styling by Tahnee Carroll. The pair are making their mark in the homewares industry and we were thrilled to work with them to shoot our Autumn/ Winter 15 range. Here are some behind the scene pics from the shoot day. Soft pink is THE colour of the season, we have seen it on runways and now have welcomed the colour with open arms into homewares. Embrace the colour with greys, whites and black as well as use marble in tables, lamps or even a paper weight. This texture will give soft pink a mature personality. Rapee has introduced soft pink into the FANTASIA collection, view more of the collection here.

Introducing the inspiration behind our Autumn/ Winter '15 Collection. Consisting of three stories - Fantasia, Gypsy Heritage and Panache. Dropping into stores early Febuaray 2015.
Inspired by a world of whimsical fantasy, the FANTASIA story has an airy feminine, eclectic feel. The muted palette of soft pinks, glacial blues and iced lemons coordinate and contrast with wintery blacks, white and neutrals. This story embodies a contrast of bold geometrics, abstract animal tapestries and woven plaids paired back with decadent faux furs; metallic foil printed velvets and digitally printed pastel florals.
Influenced by the modern gypsy, GYPSY HERITAGE is inspired by the earth with a blend of designs and constructions that have a modern rustic tribal feel. This striking palette of vibrant reds, inks and yellows coordinate with softer neutral greys and chambray blues for a relaxed decor. This story celebrates a blend of ethnic constructions, heavy textures in chenille jacquards, kilims and woolly crewel embroideries.
Enthused by the French boulevards and the waters of the Seine in Paris, the PANACHE story has an elegant urban chic feel. Deep watery blue pantones Ink, turquoise and dusk are highlighted with a bright flame red and a flicker of metallic coppers. Woven jacquard, printed geometrics cotton twill, heavy crewel embroideries are set back with quilted and textured plain cores for a sophisticated vibrant story.
Make Christmas sparkle this year. Here are some simple ideas to inspire you this holiday season.
Move away from the traditional red and green by sprinkling a little glitter as your Christmas signature for 2014. Customise your gift wrapping by including the feathers apart of your gift wrapping. Use the pinecones or pasta as bunting for wall and tree decorations. Display the gold branches in a tall vase with hanging ornaments. Put the finishing touches on your Christmas table with the shells and vases with bright blooms.
These are just some of our favourite things. What will you be using for your Christmas signature this year?
